Besan (chickpea flour) | 1 cup |
Potato peeled and chopped | 2 cup |
Onion chopped | 1 medium |
Coriander leaves | 2 tablespoon |
Crushed coriander seeds | ½ teaspoon |
Salt | ¾ teaspoon |
Red chili flakes | ½ teaspoon |
Green chilies chopped | 1 teaspoon |
Aniseed (sonf) | ½ teaspoon |
Turmeric powder | ½ teaspoon |
Baking powder | ¼ teaspoon |
Water | required for making a thick paste |
Oil | for deep frying fritters |
Instructions
- Mix together besan (gram flour), chili flakes, turmeric powder, baking powder, Aniseeds, crushed coriander and salt in a bowl.
- Add potatoes, onions and green chilies and mix them with the flour mixture.
- Slowly Add water and mix batter with hand or spoon and make thick paste.
- Heat oil in a pot.
- With the help of a tablespoon put the batter into the oil.
- Fry them on medium flame till they are crisp and golden brown.
- Serve 4
