Crispy Aloo Pakora (Potato Fritters) Recipe



IngredientsQuantity
Besan (chickpea flour)1 cup
Potato peeled and chopped2 cup
Onion chopped1 medium
Coriander leaves2 tablespoon
Crushed coriander seeds½ teaspoon
Salt¾  teaspoon
Red chili flakes½ teaspoon
Green chilies chopped1 teaspoon
Aniseed (sonf)½ teaspoon
Turmeric powder½ teaspoon
Baking powder¼ teaspoon
Water required for making a thick paste
Oil for deep frying fritters

Instructions


  • Mix together besan (gram flour), chili flakes, turmeric powder, baking powder, Aniseeds, crushed coriander and salt in a bowl.

  • Add potatoes, onions and green chilies and mix them with the flour mixture.

  • Slowly Add water and mix batter with hand or spoon and make thick paste.

  • Heat oil in a pot.

  • With the help of a tablespoon put the batter into the oil.

  • Fry them on medium flame till they are crisp and golden brown.
  • Serve 4
