Butter or ghee / clarified butter | ½ cup |
White flour | 2 cups |
Baking powder | 2 teaspoons |
Sugar powder | 1.5 cups |
Eggs | 2 |
Milk | 1 cup |
Vanilla essence | 1 teaspoon |
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven.
- In a sauce pan melt butter.
- Put sugar in a bowl, add melted butter in it and mix it, then add eggs and milk in it and mix until sugar dissolves properly.
- Mix white flour and baking powder (dry ingredients).
- Add dry ingredients in the mixture and mix them properly.
- Add vanilla essence in the mixture.
- Shift the mixture in oil brushed cake pan.
- Bake at 180 degrees f for 25-30 minutes or until cake test done and it turns golden in color.
- Serve with tea.
