- 2 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon plain flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Preparation
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoon butter.
- Add 2 tablespoon flour and stir until the butter and flour are well combined.
- Pour 1cup of milk in it, stirring constantly with whisk as it thickens.
- Add salt and more milk depending on desired consistency.
- Once thick and simmering, cook for 2 minutes to cook the flour out.
White sauce with cheese

- 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese
Cheese Sauce preparation
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoon butter.
- Add 2 tablespoon flour and stir until the butter and flour are well combined.
- Pour 1 cup of milk in it, stirring constantly with whisk as it thickens.
- Add more milk depending on desired consistency.
- Once thick and simmering, cook for 2 minutes to cook the flour out.
- Stir in 1/2 cup grated Cheddar cheese during the last 2 minutes of cooking, along with salt and pepper.
