Chicken malai boti Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken breast (boneless)
- 1.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoon yogurt
- 3 tablespoon cream
- 1 teaspoon green chili paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon allspice powder/ gram masala
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoon sesame seeds
Marinade Preparation
- Cut chicken breast into cubes.
- Add the chicken, salt, and lemon to a bowl, mix well, and set aside for approx 10 min.
- Now add yogurt, cream, green chili, Black pepper powder, garlic paste, ginger paste, chili powder, and garam masala to a blender and puree to a smooth paste.
- Then add paste to the bowl with chicken and add sesame seeds in it.
- let it marinate in the fridge for approx 3 hrs or overnight.
Pan Cooking Method
- Add vegetable oil to a frying pan over medium heat, and fry chicken until cooked through.
- Alternatively, you can thread the chicken onto skewers and fry them on all sides. Serve warm with parathas.
Baking Method
- Spray the baking sheet with nonstick cooking oil. Place the chicken pieces on the sheet, evenly spaced.
- Turn on your oven's grill/broiler to 200 C and grill for about 10-12 minutes per side.
- Now turn the skewers over once they begin to color; keep an eye that the chicken doesn't burn.
- You can brush them with some melted butter midway through grilling. You can even grill these on a proper charcoal grill.
- Serve chicken malai boti warm with parathas.
