Chicken malai boti Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken breast (boneless)

  • 1.5 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • 3 tablespoon yogurt

  • 3 tablespoon cream

  • 1 teaspoon green chili paste

  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste

  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder

  • 1 teaspoon allspice powder/ gram masala

  • 1 cup vegetable oil

  • 2 teaspoon sesame seeds


Marinade Preparation



  1. Cut chicken breast into cubes.

  2. Add the chicken, salt, and lemon to a bowl, mix well, and set aside for approx 10 min.

  3. Now add yogurt, cream, green chili, Black pepper powder, garlic paste, ginger paste, chili powder, and garam masala to a blender and puree to a smooth paste.

  4. Then add paste to the bowl with chicken and add sesame seeds in it.

  5. let it marinate in the fridge for approx 3 hrs or overnight.


Pan Cooking Method



  1. Add vegetable oil to a frying pan over medium heat, and fry chicken until cooked through.

  2. Alternatively, you can thread the chicken onto skewers and fry them on all sides. Serve warm with parathas. 


Baking Method



  1. Spray the baking sheet with nonstick cooking oil. Place the chicken pieces on the sheet, evenly spaced.

  2. Turn on your oven's grill/broiler to 200 C and grill for about 10-12 minutes per side.

  3. Now turn the skewers over once they begin to color; keep an eye that the chicken doesn't burn.

  4. You can brush them with some melted butter midway through grilling. You can even grill these on a proper charcoal grill.

  5. Serve chicken malai boti warm with parathas.
