Traditional Coleslaw Recipe





Ingredients Quantity
small head cabbage (any type)1
large carrots2
yogurt or mayonnaise½ cup
vinegar1 tablespoon
sugar1 tablespoon
salt½ teaspoon
pepper¼ teaspoon




Instructions



  1. Chop or grate cabbage and carrots into thin strips.

  2. Mix vinegar, mayonnaise, sugar, salt and pepper together in a small bowl to make a dressing.

  3. Toss shredded vegetables and dressing.

  4. Chill and serve cold
